Forest for the Trees invited me to create a mural as part of their annual mural fest in Portland, Oregon. This specific piece is a nod to the cycle in creative process - the dive into a rut/depression and a rise again to inspiration.
A dream job elevating and changing space with art and color; I was hired by Adidas and Kamp Grizzly to create artwork for Adidas x USA Volleyball High Performance Championships in FL.
Part of the Here to Create Campaign, I was commissioned to create a girl gang floor mural inspired by Chinae Alexander to celebrate women equality.
The event took place at Griffith Park in Los Angeles with 10 art installations inspired by adidas female athletes along a half-mile climb.
As part of Women x Women mural tour hosted by Tictail x Absolut Art, I was asked to create a self portrait.
The selfie is how a lot of women reclaim their identity and self worth. While I personally have a fundamental issue with this culture, I can't ignore that it is a very important signifier of change & progress in culture that is in sync with technology. The self portrait is not just limited to artists and photographer, but anyone, in any emotional and physical stage, at any given time or place, have the ability to capture him or herself.
Self portraiture is a thoughtful reflection, an ode -whether praise or scrutiny- to self. While a selfie is also a similar tool, I argue the ease and accessibility of the process can take away from the conversation a woman needs to have with herself.
In 1989, feminist activists the Guerrilla Girls famously reported that less than 5% of the works in the Modern Art section at the Met were by female artists—but that 85% of the nudes were women. In 2012, the group did a recount. The numbers had barely changed.
In response to this, Tictail and Absolut Art have partnered together to launch Women x Women, a discovery based art-tour in New York City’s Lower East Side that highlights emerging female artists and puts female representation back into the hands of women.

4.8 Million / 55" x 35" plexi, LED, vinyl.
"4.8 Million" is a dedication to the collective pain of the refugee experience; the forced displacement, perilous journey, rejection in a safe haven; What is it like to be trapped, to be placeless, to be singled out, to feel worthless?
In the city where we constantly seek a life of stimulation beyond mundanity, we lose perspective. It's crucial to recall empathy in any small aspect.
My first solo show, Netscape, is the exploration of our first inception into digital addiction, focusing on early digital experiences that were both confusing and exciting, and major influence for how we perceive and value our work and life.
As a digital artist, a career that was conceived in the last decade, my craft with the trackpad has become too familiar to my digital experience: I get what I want immediately with less time to appreciate what I am striving for in my artistic journey. Pursuing acrylics is my attempt to challenge my patience from inefficiency as I did in my earlier days on the computer.
I painted a mural for the gallery space Powrplnt, neon installation, collaborated with Tom Hancocks on my rendition of the nostalgic Windows maze screensaver for a projection installation, as well as pins and shirts to give away for the show opening. Netscape was a part of the BOOM festival, a 4-day event celebrating artists, food, music and life in Bushwick, Brooklyn, NY.
All paintings are 48"x48" and available for sale. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org
Alone Together is a critique of our post-election society. Some of us are doing just fine and others are clearly not. We allow ourselves to stay within our comfort zones—our pools—but we don’t reach out to the other side for more open dialogue and understanding. We're either thriving or dying. We’re both awake and ignorant. We’re isolated yet we’re next to one another.
As part of the artist series, Tictail in Lower East Side asked me to design a mural along with curating a show to celebrate its launch. The series of work, Alone Together, is in reflection of our current political and societal climate. I also asked 7 artists to contribute, donating all of our proceeds to organizations that need it.
Whole in the Gap
A woman's power can be perceived in many ways from her own sexuality to a maternal influence. This series takes a look at the variation of power women hold inside very private parts.

Warby Parker opened their first store in my hometown, Portland Oregon, that was different than their other stores as it also hosted arcade games with game proceeds to Right Brain Collective. I was asked to design, concept and illustrate an art installation for above the reception desk that resonated with Portland, arcade gaming and WP brand values.

Adobe asked me to create a piece of art for their upcoming Creative Cloud launch. The project consisted of creating artwork using the Adobe apps inspired by the insanely beautiful & serene desert in White Sands, New Mexico, a place I've always wanted to visit. The end result was a 9’ x 9’ lightbox displayed on the sand dunes at dusk. Being lost in White Sands was one of the most profound experiences in my life.
